Arguably the one of the longest monstrous python ever caught by man on the planet earth measuring an insane 23ft long has savaged a man to the brink of death in a brutal fight.
The massive beast was blocking traffic in Indonesia – and attacked the 37 year-old Robert Nababn.
The huge beast was crossing the road blocking traffic and pedestrians in the Indragiri Hulu Regency of Riau Province in Indonesia.
Local man Robert Nababn came across the monster on his moped while coming home from work.
Along with two pedestrians, he attempted to move the huge reptile. Needless to say, it did not end well for the 37-year-old.
Pythons kill their prey by suffocating them to death before swallowing them. The beasts are also armed with rows of razor sharp teeth in their gobs.
Amazingly, Mr Nababn managed to survive the encounter and was admitted to hospital.
His arm was left deeply lacerated and he was suffering from exhaustion. Its unclear how he managed to escape with his life, and how the python was then killed.
Pictures of the snake show its corpse strung up like a washing line in the village. People standing nearby are dwarfed by the beast, with three children able to fit on the tip of its tail. 
The Guinness World record for the longest snake ever to be held in captivity was for a python called Medusa that measured a huge 25ft.

Robert Nababn said I tried to catch it. It bit my arm, and we wrestled for a while. The colossal creature turn on him, chomping down on his arm and attempting to wrap him in its coils.
